2025 has been a strong and productive year for MJ Conroy Earthmoving, marked by consistent growth, a wide range of completed projects, and continued investment in equipment to support future demand. Working across the Lockyer Valley, Somerset region, and surrounding areas including Ipswich, we’ve been proud to deliver reliable rural earthmoving, civil works, and civil projects for landowners, farmers, and contractors alike.

Delivering Quality Civil and Rural Projects in 2025

Throughout 2025, our team completed a diverse range of civil works and rural earthmoving projects, each tailored to suit site conditions and long-term property needs. These projects included:

  • Dam construction, dam repairs, desilting, and bywash upgrades

  • Land clearing, vegetation management, and lantana removal

  • Driveway construction, resurfacing, and farm track upgrades

  • Site cuts, shed pads, and final trim works

  • Water management, drainage solutions, and erosion control

  • General property maintenance and fire-season preparation

From rural properties to larger civil projects, our approach has remained consistent - practical planning, the right machinery for the job, and quality workmanship that stands the test of time. Local knowledge plays a key role, particularly when working in the varied ground and weather conditions found throughout the Lockyer Valley and Somerset region.

Supporting Local Infrastructure and Property Development

Many of the civil projects completed in 2025 focused on improving access, water control, and land usability. Well-built dams, properly graded driveways, and effective drainage systems all contribute to safer, more functional properties and infrastructure. Our experience in civil works allows us to deliver these outcomes efficiently while ensuring long-term performance.

Investing in Equipment and Capability

To support growing demand and expand our service offering, 2025 also saw significant investment in our fleet. The addition of a new Develon DX225 excavator has increased our capacity to take on larger civil works and rural earthmoving projects, while still delivering the precision required for detailed site preparation and finishing.

We also added a 4800 Western Star truck to the fleet, allowing us to deliver materials directly to site. The truck has a 10 cubic metre capacity and is used for the delivery of roadbase, sand, gravel, and topsoil, improving efficiency on civil projects and reducing delays for our clients. This addition strengthens our ability to support driveway construction, access tracks, site preparation, and general earthworks across the region.

Preparing for a Bigger 2026

Looking ahead, MJ Conroy Earthmoving is continuing to build momentum. With another new machine set to join the fleet soon, we’re positioning the business for an even bigger 2026, with the capacity to take on more complex civil projects, larger rural developments, and expanded earthmoving works across South East Queensland.

Thank You to Our Clients

We’d like to thank all our clients who trusted MJ Conroy Earthmoving with their projects throughout 2025. Your support allows us to continue investing in better equipment and delivering high-quality civil works and rural earthmoving services.
